Greenlight Horoscopes for in-app & social
While working at Greenlight (a financial app for families), there was an ask to develop the illustration system to be more robust and “aged up.” The target audience for this illustration system had a large range: from children and teens, to parents and caregivers. A variety of potential platforms also needed to be considered for best optimization and user experience: in-app communications, IG, TikTok, etc.
Monthly horscopes was the first campaign for this illustration system. I worked with Josh Lafayette to create graphics that would grow with our families. To young kids, it’s “cool for teens.” To Teens, it can compete with the punchy bold, graphics they consume daily. And for parents and caregivers, it’s a polished and clean system that they can confidently trust to teach Financial Literacy to their families.
The content reframes Financial Literacy learnings into bite-sized chunks, personalizing content to each audience member. Instead of the droll, overly didactic content that finance is often associated with, this campaign offers an engaging way to interact with new financial ideas. Monthly horoscopes lead to increased app-usage, bolstered new in-app experiences and campaigns, and supported the mission to bring more Financial education to Greenlight families.
